I recently had my basement sealed over the summer which caused a ton of concrete dust and debree all over my unfinished basement. I also had many years worth of water leaking in my basement which caused a dirty dingy environment. I decided it was finally time for a good clean and disinfecting now that my basement is finally waterproof. After a ton of research I settled on master tech environmental based on their outstanding reviews. Wayne showed up on Thursday 8/11/22 prompt and early. I was a little nervous because there were supposed to be two men doing the job, but he assured me I would be getting the same quality of work with just himself on the job. He made good on his word. He was polite, respectful of my home, and got every square inch of my basement. He was very detailed, and did an outstanding job. It was exactly what I had hoped for and more. I know it was very tedious work, but he did it all in a sufficient amount of time. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Wayne!

We had an excellent experience working with MasterTech on an attic mold remediation. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. The remediation process was very thorough (much more so than any of the other companies we considered). The post-remediation testing gave us peace of mind that the project was completed successfully, and their warranty is comprehensive and long-term. All in all, MasterTech was a pleasure to work with from start to finish!

The Basement, she is Clean!I highly recommend Mastertech for their professionalism and reasonable price. While not cheap the price was less than other companies with good reputations offered. More importantly there was no scare tactics used to try to get me to to do more than needed. The guys working on my basement were friendly and hard working.Now, this is part is not a review on them but a warning to people like me who forget what they have till it’s gone. The only negative I had of the whole experience was due to my naivety. They told me before they started to let them know what I wanted to save. They said they would try to save any valuables that they could. Unfortunately, I forgot some things were down there and valuables can be subjective. So as a warning if it is safe put on a mask and take a throughout look for what you want to save.

Excellent communication and work on our mold remediation project. Workers had to do extra work and empty some cabinets that they determined were moldy; they did a great job keeping items organized. (We should have emptied them ourselves in case they found mold, but hadn't done so. Oops.) They left the area cleaner than they found it! Very satisfied.

The staff at MasterTech Environmental are polite, prompt, and professional. Their inspector visited our home, explained their services clearly, and provided a comprehensive proposal before leaving. The remediation crew arrived on time, kept us informed on their progress, and effectively remediated the mold in my attic. They treated us and our home with respect and care. I bought this older home and the basement was so bad I didn’t even want to go into it .It was the worst I have ever seen and the mildew was terrible.And the basement was full with junk.The beat thing I ever did was to hire Master Tech to clean it out. I would recommend master text to anybody as they did a fantastic job vacuumed everything out got rid of all the garbage no more smells I have no trouble going down anymore. Again from a 1 to 10 master tech is a 15. Their people are courteous and do a fantastic job

Mold is a real health issue for me, so I was very upset to discover it in the home I had just purchased. I am so glad I chose MasterTech Environmental for the mold remediation. Everyone I encountered exhibited the highest level of professionalism, expertise, and respectful compassion. Explanations were so thorough that I had few questions afterward. They were quick to begin the work and when done, aside from the obvious treatment areas, there was no sign they had been there. The job was excellently done and they did what it took to make me feel comfortable about the whole process and outcome. I couldn't be more grateful to them.

If anyone is ever in need of a mold remediation or clean up company we just had a great experience with MasterTech! I took a chance based on the great ratings they had on all the different ratings sites I checked out. Turns out they are a franchise, but this was the original. They were in the attic for three days! The team was so sweet and super polite, we just felt very comfortable with them. Of course our dogs loved them! They each got a little loving as the guys would go back & forth to their truck throughout the day. They did a great job and were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!

I googled/called many companies and MasterTech was without a doubt the right call after the job was done.It was an excellent experience working with MasterTech Environmental and their whole team for an inspection and remediation on a property I am helping manage. Through the entire job (multiple appointments), they were 100% professional (timely written estimates, updates, follow-ups). The inspectors and team were always on-time, courteous, and respectful of your home. I do extensive due diligence when hiring any contractor and I have high expectations. I rarely write reviews as meeting my expectations does not really warrant praise. However Mastertech’s technicians exceeded my expectations remediating a mold issue in my home caused by a leaky pipe in the wall. They expertly contained the work area to prevent spreading contamination and removed all infected materials and thoroughly cleaned what remained. They worked diligently, quietly and left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Good job!

When the unit next to my rental property flooded and damaged my property Mastertech took care of the tear out and mold remediation. From start to finish they were professional, timely and quick to answer any concerns I had. I checked with Servpro in the area for a quote and Mastertech beat them by thousands of dollars. Do not hesitate to use them, I will recommend to anyone and everyone.

I had to have mold remediation done in my crawl space and behind my air handler unit in my laundry room. Absolutely Excellent Company And Staff!!! Addressed all of my concerns, explained every step of the diagnosis and remediation process. Excellent pricing, staff was on time, polite, cleaned up everything after remediation. Staff did not leave until everything was taken care of. Work done was immaculate!! They follow up after the work is completed, address any and all questions and concerns. Very nice and polite customer service, mold remediation removal was done by very knowledgeable and experienced technicians, they arrived before the scheduled appointment time,before they began to work they explained each stage of the removal procedure, talk about good theme work, protected my personal belongings by ceiling off the work area like a Cancun keeping all contaminants contained. When done there was no mold visible and everything was very clean,yes would recommend to anyone who has mold problem.

For quite sometime my wife Maureen and I had acute sinusitis. She said, "the house is making us sick". Finally after months of doctor visits and medication Maureen decided we should check our basement. Why we did this was because we had a water problem 2 summers prior and XYZ Company did the water cleanup. Well to my dismay we detected some mold in the corners. We immediately contacted Master Tech Environmental due their internet quality reviews. Mr. Tom Duff visited the same evening. He went right to the basement and in no time discovered black mold which was under the linoleum in our partially finished side. The test equipment detected numbers that were ridiculous and sickening. Tom discussed in detail what his team of professional would do and how we would be well protected after the mold remediation. We schedule the cleanup.A team of 5 members, headed by Tony arrived shortly after receiving the proposal and contract. There was no holding the crew back. Tony and Mark walked me through their program which took four days.Not once did they slow down working as a team they completely emptied the base of years of clutter on one side and a complete array of desks, computer equipment, bookcases filled with hardback, paperback and audio books all which was lost to the mold. Not only did we lose the office in its entirety but seasonal clothes and coats, decorations etc. What a disaster.For the better part of two days they removed everything from the basement. Only certain items were able to be kept. Oh boy!The came the mold removal process. The team completely set up a plastic chamber from the entry door to the cellar steps. Over the next two days they went about the remediation. What a task at hand. The team did an awesome job. Afterwards, a walk through and discussion of all that had been cleaned was led by Tony. What a job that they did.That was not the last of Master Tech. Just this month we had another homeowner issue which resulted in a flooded basement. After calling the insurance company, the Horizon and Delmonte Waste Removal, I called Tom at Master Tech.Tom promised me he would have a team to my house that day. Thankfully Tony and Mark arrived around 4:00 and went right to work. Four hours later and looking a little tired, they had the fans and dehumidifier running full speed to dry out the waterless basement. If not for them I do believe my wife would have traded me and the house in for a glass of wine.Thank you Tom, Tony, Mark and the mold team! Oh and thanks go to Master Tech for being a class operation.Tom you saved us twice. You are aces.Len & Maureen Yovnello

From the start, setting up an appointment when I called in and spoke with Diane was easy. Shorty after, I had a consultation and review of my basement with Tom.

I suspected I had mold on my floor joists but after a thorough look at my old unfinished basement and crawl space, we found that I didn't have anything immediate to worry about.

No high pressure sales tactics here - just a good company with good people looking out for your safety. Highly recommended.

We interviewed many contractors for the remediation of the mold in our basement. If your concern is to have the mold in your house thoroughly cleaned and guaranteed, look no further than Mastertech Environmental. What a fabulous company to work with! Tom has become the standard by which we judge all other contractors. He is professional, friendly, fair in pricing, and the communication from him and Diane who runs the office is outstanding. The guys who did the work respect your house and do everything they can to work with you in every regard. Out of 5 stars, I give them 10!

A BIG positive shout-out to MasterTech Environmental for their excellent work in removing the mold from my huge basement! Prior to the job, I had many questions. Diane, the office manager, was always very helpful and polite when responding to my questions. The crew of Tony, Mark, Wayne, Rich, and Kraig worked diligently to rid my basement of mold. They were knowledgeable, polite, pleasant and professional.. I was impressed with everything they did...even wiped up my hardwood floors daily so there wouldn't be any dusty footprints. We had our crawl space treated for mold. It was a tough job, in an unpleasant space. The owner Tom was invaluable. He not only explained all the work, but his engineering expertise uncovered several other dangerous trouble spots for us - answered why house was sinking/revealed vents opened by previous owner, causing needless payment for ac and heat of a large storage area for 20 years, need for retaining wall outside to stop water entering foundation, etc. (MasterTech could not make all corrections, but alerted us to the need, and told us what was not necessary to do!) Tom also helped us file for insurance, and most of the cost was covered!
The crew - 3 men, were always prompt, courteous, very clean, and communicative. They sealed my inside crawl space entrance, and did all their work through a small opening in the foundation. They even replanted a bush that had to be moved, and watered it each day! The crawl space is pristine! I highly recommend this company!

We just wanted to say thank you for your prompt delivery of services for mold removal in our kitchen and basement. It is reassuring to know that a company cares so much about our personal needs. Being 9 months pregnant and knowing there was a large amount of mold in the kitchen and basement was extremely stressful but you and your workers eased some of the anxiety. We appreciate that you had your team out the following day to begin the mold removal. Your guy kept us in the loop and about what they were doing and the progress they were making. So thank you!
